Howdy, I’m Brian McHatton. I am a Professional Writing and Economics graduate from the University of Oklahoma,, and am currently perusing a Masters in Economics. I’m also a self-published author, dungeons & dragons player, and a chaser of excellence.
I earned two separate bachelors degrees in Professional Writing and Economics in May of 2022. Through my two degrees, I’ve received high level teaching not only on economic concepts but also a deep background in academic, entertainment, journalistic, and technical writing styles and formats.
I have an affinity for international finance, environmental economics, and macroeconomics.
Despite only publishing in fiction short stories and a novella, my university-level training prepared me for any type of writing from academic essays, reports, newspaper or magazine entries, and social media, to podcast, comic, TV show, and movie scripts.
My published work is in fiction and is written in fantasy, sci-fi, and western genres and typically have horror themes or subgenres.
Additionally, I have a deep passion for all things tabletop games (except Catan).
